Wilt Chamberlin

Name the professional athletes you respect the most and why.

I was born during a different time when people where much more caring of one another, now I am not saying it was perfect it was different and I am not sure if any one may remember this athlete because he played basket ball what for me is eons ago……DO you remember Wilt Chamberlin, I do…and if I was , which I do have an athlete I most respect it would be Mr, Wilt Chamberlin.

I have never been an athletic cheerleader. I always felt (even as a young child) they made entirely to much money. Not that I don’t think they are worthy of what they make. It was just the fact that athletics is an entertainment and I believe other active is such as doctors, educators, carpenters, nurses…..etc made so much less for saving a life, parting information to one for the betterment of anothers life and building a home was to me a more worthy profession. But since I am choosing to attemp to answer the question I choose Mr.Wilt Chamberlin to answer this question.

Wilt Chamberlain grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was born in Philadelphia on August 21, 1936, and spent much of his early life in the city. Wilt grew up in Philadelphia and attended Overbrook High School, where he began to make a name for himself as a basketball prodigy. His success at the high school level eventually led him to play college basketball at the University of Kansas before embarking on his illustrious NBA career. Philadelphia remained an essential part of Chamberlain’s life, even as he played for various NBA teams during his career.

Wilt Chamberlain was a legendary American basketball player who is considered one of the greatest to have ever played the game. He was born on August 21, 1936, and passed away on October 12, 1999. Chamberlain is known for his incredible scoring ability, dominance on the court, and numerous records. He played for several NBA teams, including the Philadelphia/San Francisco Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers, and Los Angeles Lakers during his career, which spanned from 1959 to 1973. Chamberlain’s most famous achievements include scoring 100 points in a single game and averaging over 50 points per game in a season. He is also remembered for his prowess as a rebounder and shot-blocker.

Wilt Chamberlain was involved in various charitable and community-oriented activities during and after his basketball career. Again as I do not agree with the amount of money athletes make I can say there are honorable people among that group of people so for me that person would be Mr. Wilt Chamberlin.
