What’s something you used to worry about but don’t anymore?
When the prompt fairy asked, “What’s something you used to worry about that you don’t anymore?” I had to stop and think. Truthfully, I’ve never been someone who worried about what people thought of me or whether I measured up. My worries were always about the people I loved.
I really did not care, it was so unimportant to me.
I worried about my mother. I worried about my children and whether they would find their way in life. I worried about whether I would finish my doctorate program. I worried about my sisters and whether they would be okay.
Those weren’t worries rooted in fear—they were rooted in love.As I’ve grown older, I’ve realized something. Life has a way of unfolding exactly as it should. Not always the way we planned, not always on our timetable, but in ways that teach us, strengthen us, and prepare us for what’s next.
I’ve learned that I can love deeply without carrying the weight of trying to control everything. I can pray, support, encourage, and be present, but I don’t have to carry the world on my shoulders. That’s why my title is Life, Life and Live.
The first Life is the life you’ve been given. The second Life is the lessons life teaches you.And Live is the choice you make every day—to embrace the present, cherish the people you love, and trust that tomorrow will take care of itself.
Life will always present challenges. The question is whether we’ll spend our days carrying them or living through them with faith, hope, and gratitude.
So today, I choose to live. I choose to enjoy the people I love while they’re here. I choose to keep learning, keep growing, keep serving, and keep finding joy in the ordinary moments.Because in the end, life isn’t about how much we worried. It’s about how fully we lived.
“Life, Life and Live” for me is experience life, learn from life, then truly live it.
Today is a new day create some memories to imprint on this world and the collective.
I have been in the field of mental health for over 30ty years. Incorporating meditation and yoga along with therapy as tools for mental health and eveyday life issues just makes sense, hence the word Mentaltation.
