Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD):
Because there is a lot of information, I would like to share I will be posting more information concerning this disorder during the coming week. Today, I will be sharing:
*What are some of the challenges people affected with this dis-ease face
*What can individuals do to offset symptoms of PMDD?
*What type of exercises are good for PMDD?
*What is a balance diet for people affected with PMDD?
What are some of the challenges people affected with this dis-ease:
People with PMDD face challenges like dealing with intense mood swings, feeling overwhelmed, and finding it hard to concentrate. These symptoms can affect their relationships, work, and daily activities.
What can individuals do to offset symptoms of PMDD?
To offset PMDD symptoms, individuals can try managing stress through relaxation techniques like yoga or meditation, getting regular exercise, eating a balanced diet, and getting enough sleep. Some may also find it helpful to talk to a therapist or counselor for support.
Yoga can be a beneficial exercise for people challenged with PMDD. Yoga combines physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation, which can help reduce stress, improve mood, and promote relaxation. Additionally, certain yoga poses can help alleviate physical symptoms such as bloating and cramping. Regular practice of yoga may contribute to better overall mental and physical well-being for individuals with PMDD.
What is a balance diet for people affected with PMDD?
A balanced diet for people with PMDD includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. It’s important to limit sugary foods, caffeine, and alcohol, as these can worsen symptoms. Eating regular, small meals throughout the day can also help maintain stable blood sugar levels and improve mood.
It is important to consult with a professional when considering, diet, exercise or changes in your challenges.
Please join me next week where I will continue to share part 3 of information on PMDD such as:
* Possible treatment people challenged with PMDD might consider?
*What type of foods people challenged with PMDD might consider avoiding?
* What type of foods they might want to consider including in their diet?
*Two Recipes people with PMDD might want to try?
* Organizations that can offer support, assistance or information to individuals challenged with PMDD? (USA, International, for hearing impaired).
* Support for family members living with someone experiencing PMDD in USA, International, for hearing impaired.
Thank you for continuing to support me. Last post I said I would do a monthly post on mental health challenges, well there is a lot of information I want to cover with PMDD, and I feel I would be doing you a dis-service by limiting it to one or even 2 parts of the subject matter. So, it is a series of information I will be sharing with you this April.
