Describe the most ambitious DIY project you’ve ever taken on.

Now, I must tell you it was at least 20 years ago and I am blessed because my oldest son is a carpenter and a licensed electrician. That pic of Bob of bobs burger (oh, I must also admit if I watch tv it would be this type of numbing funny to me stuff)… now back to the task at had.

I had torn out the shower wall…. lol..I had no concept of what the heck I was doing….. I tell you my child was my saving grace….

I did my research, you tube, this old house, many renovation books…lol

In the end…..or should I say a month and a weekend later……

With help from his construction friends…..

I had the most beautiful bathroom I could have asked for….

Thank goodness we had two bathrooms at that time…..lol
That was my first and last big dyi project and now I ask my husband and son when there is something of that scale. Don’t misunderstand I can paint, use a drill saw and other equipment used to repair as my father, uncles, and men in my family would not have the women not know how to complete minor repairs or even know how to change a tire and your oil…..lol
Along the way I have learned more things and I am a little more confident in completing repairs around the house if necessary.
The key word is necessary….lol
Hey, it’s a chilly Monday morning here, my puppies and their mom just went back to sleep…. I am tweaking my mental health post then off to sleep….
Enjoy today, laugh, smile and hum a little ditty you never know who will delight in your joy….in short be a blessing not just to yourself but to others….
