I did or rather we did…no joke. A couple of centuries ago, when I first began my blog. I talked a little or maybe a lot about relocating after I retired….
Well, I researched many places that would allow me to keep more of my moneys than taxing me to death….
We went to Tennessee, Arizona, Atlanta, and ,Los Vegas, Just to come back to Illinois..,.
We looked high and low….to find what’s best for us….
I have always been a city girl and I ended up in the suburbs…. Who knew…I know this is a long one …so bear with me…lol
After looking at 100 million homes (ok, maybe just 20, seriously it took 1 year) we finally found what we consider our dream home …although it is in a suburb…
It feels like we are in the country….
For me it is more about the peace a home brings, mine does just that. I can describe a building, we all can… it’s the are, the placement, the feeling when you first walk in, the energy of the area and nature around it….these are the necessities that make a dream home for me not the building.
Another day has come and gone, we have another chance to….you decide…lol
