I thought I knew….

What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?

Well, I am uncertain. No, I am not what I used in the past did not work. So when I find one that works, my wonderful prompt fairy…..I will report my findings….lol.

Be good to yourself and those around you the benefits are astounding to both parties….

  1. I am learning to listen to my body and God .  After recent experiences, I know that relying on the strategies of others alone is not my best course.  Consider the following: compromises to my vein system, attributed to chemotherapy injections, leg muscle fatigue and pain – now attributed to cholesterol medication (previously attributed to arthritis) insufficient results from Cologard substitute test in place of colonoscopy test etc.  I’ve learned to use available tools Webmd, Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinic, to start investigations routinely on my own.  Reading an article on the side effects of cholesterol medication would have save two years of pain, as would have a more efficient computer system to alert medical professionals to a possible health compromise.  Yet it took a health plan medical survey nurse on the phone in another state to connect the possible dots. Thank God I have survived the medical system protecting me.   Via
