My primary reading book…. Dick and Jane eventually got African American neighbors then it really was my favorite….lol

  1. I must be older than I thought, don’t remember African American families moving into the neighborhood.  Maybe I should ask Mr. Rogers – he knows everyone.

  2. books like us always hit Accord more than anything else and I never had a mentor or anyone who understood what it was to grow gay in Rural America. That would have been a book I wanted to read. I just always assumed that I was meant to die of birth. I didn’t know anybody who was like me till I was 36. after years of hoping to cut of important vein while I was whittling so I could bleed to death because surely no woman likes other women.

    1. They were and are and always have been here even where you are, fear does a hell of a job on being different when you think of it who says the truth other life style has it right? I am glad the knife did not slip….
