What are your favorite brands and why?

I am going to answer the second question first….why?

As the world would have had it, at one point a brand was a dependable way to shop. You knew the product you purchase was well made, long lasting, dependable and at times indestructible. It was made here in America.

You only bought things from other countries as a luxury item, something you wanted (silk, linen, porcelain, Irish wool) things of that nature that weren’t necessarily produced here.

Then things changed, out sourcing became the way for companies to go no longer are things American made, no longer do they last or are dependable.

We now and for years have been living in throw away land, clothes have other people’s names on them and they do not last past the second wash, Carson’s is Macys, and tomatoes are gmo, as most of our food is.

Now to answer the first question, at one point I did have favorite brands, now I have to research before I buy so no I don’t have loyalty to such places, persons or things because they are not loyal to us.
