Think back on your most memorable road trip.

The last in state trip we were able to take was back in…..um let me see…oh yeah, before…..that which shall not be said, happened. I can tell you the year 2019 and if you want to say it you can…just not out loud…here’s another hint….it shut the world down…..ok that’s not enough…. Here’s the first initial of the first word and the last word…..C. V……
Now we got that out the way ….I have cousins in the south… some I know and others I don’t or at that time didn’t. I was in the throes of discovery involved heavily in genealogy.
20 years in and finally found or shall I say we found each other….she in Tennessee me in Illinois….bingo. We began communicating back and forth for a couple of months.
As our relationship began to grow it was time to meet….the spring of 2018, I packed my bag and off I was. John threw our bags in the hatch. It’s 3:40am, dark, warm and quiet. We take 90 to 94 to 65 all the way this gets you to Memphis. The scenery is breath taking.

We must’ve stop in every other town just to look. It’s not that we haven’t been on this route as a child my family would travel via car missing the then sun down towns on our way to different southern states. John and I even stop in some….. lol.
Tennessee is beautiful, it is so beautiful we John and I were going to move there ….that’s a whole another story.
We had a wonderful 10days in this small town, it was like Mayberry you felt safe all the people where warm and welcoming. Now, you can not say that about most Southern states and we were sure this place had its own devils we were blessed in those 10 days not to see them.
In that 10days in that little town I found so much. You can drive right through it and not know you where in a town and that was fine with me.
The trip was well worth it. My cousin and I remain close, we talk at least once a week, she is coming to visit in a couple of months.
Have a great day it’s warmer here than it looks, still it is winter so bundle up, and try not to fall….

It was just editing I was talking and and Google sucks at dictation so I was changing things and then all the sudden it sent it to off so. Really was warmer today although if you stood looking out you never know it but going out you know that your hand didn’t feel like your fingers are going to fall off.
