We are all differently challenged, mental illness can affect anyones life, be you rich, poor, educated, uneducated it is much like a bullet, it doesn't have a name, time, place or date on it; be it stress related or biological, there are resources available. What positive events have taken place in your life over the past year?
As sad as it is someone did not wake up today. For me it is a positive thing that after all the incidents that have transpired over the past year I am more than grateful to still be on this big greenish blue marble. Not only am I grateful for my life, I am grateful for my friends, family and my blog family.
Life is a gift, I am grateful for mine….how about you…..

Simple answer but powerfully true. Today, I can absolutely relate, as my sister is a professor at UNLV and was one of the hundreds hunkered down yesterday. Very easily today, could be our last spoken “tomorrow I will….”

Life is so very precious. I have lost my life several times, and was fortunately revived. It changed my life every time – so profoundly impacted that my career goals shifted considerably. You are very blessed and you value your life very preciously. I’m thankful for your insight 🙂

I am glad you are here to share your truth. I thank you and I appreciate your sharing. I have loved and lost many people in my life time. I am fortunate to know that this is not promised time. I try to be mindful of how I spend the time I am given.

True; life is a gift and more importantly a gift that bears no ‘due’ or ‘end’ dates on it. Some call it a ‘borrowed’ time. Sooo, point is don’t fuss over the little stuff. Just take the gift and live it to the fullest. About losing people that we love to death…TEN long years after losing my adult beautiful son (1980-2013) no other challenge is painful enough to hurt me. I just published a ‘memorial’ paperback book dedicated to his memory. On Amazon the title is: HOW I LEFT THIS WORL. and his photo is on the cover. His voice comes through the 5 short stories in it. Keep healthy and happy.

I truly appreciate your sharing, I agree with all you have shared concerning life it is a gift to me and I take it one day at a time as I might miss something. I am sorry for your loss, I loss my grandson 3 years ago he was 23 Ryan, I will purchase the book this weekend. Again I thank you.
