Let it snow….let it snow, let it snow…

What’s your favorite month of the year? Why?

You guessed right….yep December….lol

December is my favorite month of the year, although it is or can be one of the coldest months it’s also a good month for me.

This is the time of year that as a child I knew it marked less school days, due to the snow, heartier meals, ice skating and family time, as an adult it brings memories of those times gone by.

Even though I am older and the weather appears to be getting colder the older I get; I still get excited about that first blanket of snow and want to go ice skating or make snow angels, snow igloos and of course snowball fights.

I still manage to do maybe three out of the four things listed here….bet you don’t know which ones….If I tell you….well you know what happens…lol.

Ok the three things I can still do are ice skating, igloo building and snow angels if someone is there to help me down and up…

December brings festive vibes with holidays such as Christmas, Kwanza, boxing day and of course New Year’s Eve.

Now, I never understood….even now how the new year starts in the winter when all life is dormant instead of spring when life begins again….opps that’s another post…LOL

Nevertheless, it is the time of the month that even now allows you, me, us a small gleeful moment of childhood joy even if it is a fleeting thought and not a motion in action for some of us…(you know we don’t want to fall, might hurt something which is real for those of us of a certain age)

I like December because it is a festive month that denotes family moments.

Today is a new opportunity for joy and growth… let us embrace the positivity of the day and create an environment of warmth and positivity….. it’s cold out there (I’m not talking about the weather)….
